Police in southern France have launched an urgent appeal for information after a 28-year-old British woman was reported missing in what authorities have described as a “worrying disappearance of an adult person”. Danisah B. M., 28, was last seen in the city of Nîmes, in the French department of the Gard. She has not been seen since March 2.

A formal witness appeal was issued on Friday, March 6 by the police as concern for her welfare continues to grow. According to the police appeal shared on social media, Danisah is around 1.72m (5ft 8in), tall and of slim build. She has long, curly blonde hair and light-coloured eyes. Authorities said she may be travelling with a cat.

Her clothing at the time she disappeared is unknown.

For those close to her, the lack of news is especially worrying, as she is reported to be "psychologically vulnerable" with no personal belongings or medication with her, Midi Libre reported.

According to 20 Minutes, she is also believed to be without a mobile phone, access to her bank account, or identification documents.
