Sixteen people have been injured after a former student opened fire with a shotgun at a school in Turkey.
The 18-year-old attacked people at a vocational school in Siverek, Sanliurfa province, before holing up inside the building as police arrived.
He later killed himself with his gun.
Video showed him wearing a white top and slowly walking through a corridor firing at people.
Students streamed out the building as the incident unfolded and local media said special police units were deployed after he refused to surrender.
"The individual was cornered inside the building through police intervention and died after shooting himself," governor Hasan Sildak told reporters.
Ten students, four teachers, a canteen staff member and a police officer were wounded, the governor added.
Most of the victims are being treated locally but five were sent to a hospital in the provincial capital due to the seriousness of their injuries.
The attacker's motive is currently unclear.
Siverek is in southeastern Turkey, about 70 miles (112km) from the border with Syria.
