Vladimir Putin has been left humiliated after a Russian state media show descended into chaos this week. The Russian leader's mouthpiece and propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, was left furious during his radio show "Full Contact" after his team made several blunders.

According to a translated clip posted on YouTube by Russian Media Monitor, Solovyov began by discussing the US's "giant step" up the ladder of escalation towards a full-blown war, which, he warned, would require an "extremely harsh" response from Russia. However, shortly after playing a clip of Vladimir Putin, the propagandist is seen taking a deep breath and asking his editors to "come to their senses". He then begins to shout at this team, claiming his earpiece has stopped working. "I'm having to turn on my own broadcast to make sure that we're at least on-air," he said, angrily.

"What is happening in the studio?" he asked. "Was it hit by a strike, did everyone die?"

The issue arose from the fact that his team had not played the clip of Putin that he asked for.

"Can you hear me in the studio or not?" he added, his voice level continuing to rise. "Which clip did I tell you to play? What have you been doing all morning? If you have no strength or brain to listen to the broadcast, give your notice right now and get the heck out of here.

"In times of Comrade Stalin, all of you would have already been shipped out."

Solovyov went on to describe the chaos as "absolutely unacceptable," adding that he perceived it "solely as a political provocation".

Amid the chaos, he also issued a chilling threat to the West, claiming it "doesn't understand anything". "We will have to bring their colleagues, our enemies, to their senses by using the harshest means".

"I was screaming so loudly, I've lost my voice. I will honestly tell you, I am colossally disappointed [...] in my team. It's the most dangerous thing when you can't trust your own home front. Therefore, I will certainly have to take some measures."

After regaining his cool, Solovyov then began to speak about a direct attack on the UK: "[A strike] doesn't hurt [the West] if we do it on the territory of Ukraine. A strike against the territory of Britain, especially considering its island configuration, will bring many to their senses."

However, the tech then proceeds to go down again, causing the host to respond: "If I correctly understand what you're doing, it's called sabotage".
