Israeli troops have captured and planted their flag on a strategic mountain topped with the Crusader-built Beaufort castle near the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon, the military said Sunday. It is Israel’s deepest incursion into Lebanon in more than a quarter century. Israel's defence minister said troops will remain at Beaufort as part of Israel's security zone in Lebanon.
