Nothing fazes New Yorkers, or at least that’s what they thought, until they stepped out onto Manhattan streets and encountered a 10-foot sphere of real human hair rolling towards them! The pedestrians who cussed ‘Eww’ were not wrong. That was gross and disgusting, but according to the studio, the rolling installation highlighted the staggering scale of premature hair ageing and everyday shedding.“We didn’t create a giant Tumblehair just to make you uncomfortable. We wanted to make you stop and think about how much hair you leave behind every day—in your brush, your shower, your drain, and everywhere in between,” the haircare brand said.The art installation rolled across NYC neighbourhoods, including Midtown, West Village, Chinatown and the Seaport.
