A US woman who visited 26 European cities said that one "bland" UK city was the second worst she went to. Charlie Wallace said in her TikTok review she ranked each city on its "food, vibe, affordability, and overall experience".
"These are just my opinions based on my own experiences travelling across Europe," she said on her @charliewallace64 account.
"Some of these takes might be controversial but that's what makes travel personal. I've visited 26+ European cities, from the classics to the underrated gems, and ranked them from worst to best based on food, vibe, affordability, and overall experience. Let me know which city you think deserves to be higher (or lower)!".

Getting a score of just 3.2 of out of ten, the West Midlands city failed to impress Charlie. "Birmingham just hasn't left a mark on me,", she said.
She added how she felt the UK Second City "lacks charm and cohesion" and described the centre as "bland".
But, she did admit she had been recommended to return in December when the city comes to life with bright and festive Christmas markets.

Charlie did not dislike all the European cities she visited. London came second on Charlie's list with an impressive 9.6 out of ten.
Despite living in the capital for four years, Charlie insisted: "I'm still not bored. It's the ultimate melting pot of cultures, cuisines, styles, and ideas."
Though the city can be "fast-paced and intense at times", Charlie added "it still has my heart".
