A teenage girl was allegedly repeatedly raped by her father. The 14-year-old victim was attacked over three consecutive days last month, and a police investigation has now been launched.

It is reported that the girl was raped repeatedly between Saturday, May 9 and Monday, May 11. The suspect allegedly gave her contraceptive pills following the ordeal and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. However, the teenager's mother eventually reported the attacks to the police over two weeks later and a man was arrested. He remains in custody, and detectives are continuing to investigate the reported rapes.

As reported by India Today, the suspect was arrested in the Navsari district, Gujarat. It is located in the southeastern part of the state, bordering the Arabian Sea.

It's alleged the suspect repeatedly raped the teenager before giving her contraceptive pills. Her mother reported the attacks to local police on Tuesday, May 20, telling officers: "He should be hanged."

It is said the suspect tried to flee the area after being reported. However, officers managed to track him down within hours before he was arrested and charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

According to local media, the suspect had returned to India in 2024 after a six-year stay in South Africa. His threats reportedly made the girl too afraid to report what had happened.

The identity of the accused is yet to be released. The police investigation remains ongoing.
