A video of a Canadian politician outlining the risks of a Donald Trump presidency to the world has remerged after the president once more mocked his country’s northern neighbour. Trump, who has consistently called for Canada to become a US state during his second presidency, ridiculed Canada online after the country lost the Winter Olympic Ice Hockey gold medal to the US.
The video which first emerged in 2025, has gone viral on X following the president’s State of the Union address, showing Canadian MP Fareed Khan savaging Trump’s personality. Referencing ‘The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump’, a 2017 book featuring essays by 27 psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health experts who assess the psychological traits and behaviour of the US leader, he labelled Trump a “sociopath”. He said: “Donald Trump is a sociopath who poses a threat not just to the US but to the entire world.
“Some of the assessments of Trump’s personality in the book and mind you, these are assessments made by professionals who work in the area of mental health.
“Trump is an impulsive, immature, incompetent person who when in the position of ultimate power would easily slide into the role of tyrant.
“His sociopathic characteristics are undeniable and present a profound threat to democracy.
“He is profoundly an evil man exhibiting malignant narcissism and if left unchecked, his pathological narcissism could lead to World War 3.”
Despite claiming that his presidency has seen him end eight wars, Trump has been unafraid to authorise military action during his second term in office.
He has launched military action on Iran, authorised strikes in Syria and Somalia and has changed the Department of Defence’s name to the Department of War.

Within it, it warned that Europe faces the “stark prospect of civilisational erasure", leading many to question how effective the west’s ultimate deterrence against war would remain in the coming years.
This has been intensified by his pursuit of Greenland, a territory governed by a NATO ally, changeable attitudes towards Ukraine and friendliness with war criminal Vladimir Putin which have left many analysts questioning how reliable the United States is as a military ally to the West under Trump.
