The strike comes just days after airlines issued fresh travel advice to passengers attempting to fly to or from Dubai.
On March 9, major airlines including Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways warned that flights across the Middle East remained suspended, reduced or subject to sudden changes due to security concerns and widespread airspace restrictions.
