The US president saw a record number of specialists during his latest health check up

Health concerns for president Donald Trump have deepened as he saw a record number of '22 specialists' in his latest check up.
The recorded number has been revealed amid speculation about Trump's health.

Trump visited the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where Trump's personal physician, Navy Captain Sean Barbarella, recorded the number in a May 29 memo.
This is the highest number of specialists a president has seen during a physical, according to records. At Trump's previous check up in April 2025, he saw 14 doctors.
According to the Washington Post in 1989, then-President George HW Bush saw five specialists, while his son George W Bush saw 12 in 2001.
In 2024 it was revealed that Joe Biden saw a group of '20 doctors' for his medical exam.
It was not revealed by press secretary Jean-Pierre how many of those doctors were specialists.
Over the course of the last 14 months, Trump has visited Walter Reed on three occassions made aware to the public.
His physical in April 2025, another checkup including a CT scan in October and the exam at the end of last month.
Following Trump's recent examination it was concluded he "remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function."
The President was listed at 75 inches, 238 pounds - 14 pounds heavier than last year - but with a healthy resting heart rate and normal blood pressure.

The report adds that he takes two cholesterol medications and aspirin for his heart.
Despite this conclusion, there have been several concerns for the president's health during his second term.
Trump has repeatedly denied rumours of physical or mental deterioration, claiming to be in "perfect health" despite noticeable bruising, swelling and apparent memory loss.
Taking to Truth Social after the appointment, Mr Trump insisted he remained in "perfect" health, writing: "Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Centre.
“Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House.”
The US turns 80 on Sunday and is the oldest person ever elected to the presidency, beating his predecessor Joe Biden by some five months.
A White House spokesperson said: "The involvement of multiple specialists reflects a comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluation consistent with best practices for executive-level medical care."
