Diddy has been accused by attempt to murder by a fashion designer who was close to Diddy's girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Sean Diddy has been slapped with yet another lawsuit in which fashion designer Bryana Bana Bongolan revealed a life-threatening encounter that she suffered at Diddy's hand. Bongolam has filed a 17-page lawsuit in Los Angeles against Diddy alleging sexual battery, infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment and sought $10 million in damages for the lasting emotional distress that Diddy created.
According to the court documents, first reported by Rolling Stone, Diddy allegedly threatened to kill her and dangled her over a 17th-floor balcony and then slammed her into the patio furniture.
Bogolan claimed she witnessed many abusive interactions between Diddy and his girlfriend Cassie Ventura and it was for this reason that the designer was threatened by the singer physically on Ventura's balcony. In a September 2016 night, Combs allegedly dangled Bongolan over the side of the balcony and screamed at her.
“The only purpose of dangling someone over a balcony is to actually kill them or to intentionally terrorize them and rob them of any concept of dominion over their own bodily autonomy and safety,” the lawsuit, filed by attorney James R. Nikraftar of Miller Barondess, claimed. “Ms Bongolan refuses to allow this fear to control the rest of her life and brings this action to demand that Mr Combs takes responsibility for the trauma he intentionally and maliciously” inflicted.
Bongolan said as a young, aspiring fashion designer, she became close with Ventura while both of them were working with Doamond Supply Co, a popular Los Angeles store, around 2014. Bongolan had no idea about Diddy's true colors and thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collaborate with Diddy but then their association only led to "terror and abuse at his hands".
Bongolan said she continued working for Combs and his companies up until 2018 even after the harrowing experience in 2016. She recounted when Diddy threw a large kitchen knife at Ventura and Ventura, acting in self-defense, thew it back at him.
Bongolan said she came under Diddy's rage directly and during a photoshoot for Ventura, Combs allegedly cornered Bongolan and threatened her: "I'm the motherf**king devil. You have no idea what I could do to you. I could kill you."
Diddy was arrested on September 16 on charges of Sex trafficking, racketeering and transport for engaging in prostitution. Diddy denied all the charges and his team dismissed Bongolan's fresh lawsuit as well. All attempts of Diddy to secure bail have failed ahead of his trial on May 5, 2026.
