A taxi cab plowed into a group of pedestrians at Herald Square in NYC on Christmas Day just after 4pm, injuring at least six people.

Seven people, including a 9-year-old boy, were injured on Christmas Day in Midtown Manhattan when a taxi veered onto the sidewalk outside Macy's flagship store in Herald Square, police said Wednesday. The incident occurred after the 58-year-old driver suffered a medical episode behind the wheel.
The crash happened near the corner of West 34th Street and Sixth Avenue, an area bustling with holiday shoppers and tourists admiring Macy's iconic window displays.
The injured included a 9-year-old boy, two women aged 49, and others aged 19, 37, and 41. Three victims, including the boy, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The boy sustained a cut, one 49-year-old woman suffered a leg injury, and a 41-year-old woman had a head injury.

Three other pedestrians declined medical attention at the scene, and police confirmed that no life-threatening injuries were reported.
