The 19-year-old Brit allegedly attacked the bouncer after being asked to leave a bar on Magaluf's party strip in summer 2019.

After being kicked out for his inappropriate behaviour, the Brit began talking to the bouncer to try to convince him to let him back inside.

Suddenly, he broke a glass bottle and hit the bouncer in the face twice, local media reported.

The alleged attacker was arrested in the UK on an international arrest warrant, after paying £13,000 bail to get out of prison and fly home after the attack.

At the time of his arrest the man claimed that he had acted in self-defence from a previous attack.

He was held and accused of criminal behaviours after investigators watched CCTV cameras at The Plaza Bar, a well-known Magaluf party spot.

But after paying his bail and returning home, the Brit went AWOL and failed to respond to court communications.

Officials in Majorca issued the arrest order.

It is not immediately clear when the fugitive was made a wanted man or where in the UK he had been held.

Public prosecutors want the man jailed for 5 years and made to pay £23,000 in compensation if convicted of a crime of wounding with a dangerous weapon.

In November 2023 a female British soldier was charged over a glass attack in a Magaluf nightclub.

But Sydney Cole, 24, avoided prison and was let off with just a £780 fine.

The attack left her Lance Corporal pal Sarah Garrity in intensive care after losing four pints of blood and needing 14 stitches to a neck wound.

In April 2019, witnesses told cops Cole had thrown a glass directly at Sarah’s neck during a row at Magaluf's Banana's nightclub after an all-day drinking session.

Cole insisted after her arrest that her holiday pal was hurt in an accident when she threw the glass on the floor during the fight with her and shards from it hit Sarah in the neck
