A major ally of Donald Trump says the US President will be reelected again in 2029 despite the US Constitution limiting leaders to two terms.

In a resurface clip from 2025 being shared widely on social media, Bannon said: "We're working on 5 or 6 different alternatives for how Trump could run again and be president…I continue to say that on the afternoon of January 20th, 2029, Donald Trump is going to be president for his third term."

The clip is being shared as allies of Trump hint that the President could defy the Constitution and run again in 2028.

Franklin Graham, President and CEO of Samaritan's Purse, spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this week and urged attendees to “do everything we can” to get President Trump reelected.

He later said he "misspoke" at the event.

Last month, at an event in Corpus Christi, Texas, President Trump hinted that he could run for a third term a third term.
