After NBC News reported the incident, the airline announced an investigation into it. The woman said she reported the incident to flight staff but her seat was not changed as they said there were no other seats. But to her surprise, the airline staff did not call law enforcement, and the man deplaned at Newark Liberty International Airport "as if nothing had happened".It was a roughly one-hour regional flight from Rochester, New York, to Newark, and the woman said she stood for part of the journey. But when the plane was preparing to land, she was asked to return to her seat. When she told them that she was not comfortable on her seat because of the sexual harassment that she had already reported, she was told that it would only be for three to five minutes.
