Valentin Paret-Peintre triumphed at the summit of the legendary Mont Ventoux climb, capping off a spectacular stage 16. The 24-year-old Frenchman edged out Ireland’s Ben Healy in an epic finale, securing the first French victory of this year’s Tour de France. Jonas Vingegaard attacked yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar several times but failed to gain any time.
