The UN Human Rights Council reports that both the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are responsible for large-scale attacks on civilians and destruction of vital infrastructure in Sudan. Some acts have been classified as crimes against humanity. In Darfur, thousands have been displaced and are living in dire humanitarian conditions, with limited access to aid and growing risks of epidemics like cholera. The France 2 team was the first foreign crew to enter the town of Tawila, where they witnessed the effects of the conflict on the displaced population, including severe health and trauma impacts. France 2 journalists have this report.
