BRAVE Ukrainian soldiers have urged Donald Trump to help them smash Vladimir Putin if he regains the presidency in November.

Trump is in a tight battle with Kamala Harris to see who gains control of The White House with the troops in Ukraine giving their say on who they'd like to see come out victorious.

Experts have spent the last few months predicting that the outcome of the November 5 elections may change the course of the war drastically.

The whole of Ukraine is said to be holding its breath in anticipation with Harris and Trump both setting out different approaches for how they would deal with a dangerous Vlad.

Trump, 78, has repeatedly claimed if he stayed as president in 2020 then the Ukraine war two years later would have never broken out.

The Republican has a strong relationship with Russia and has even been forced to deny rumours he had phone calls with Putin since he was booted out of office.

Many Ukrainians - especially those on the battlefields - are sceptical towards Trump for his sheer admiration for Vlad.

As many fear if he comes into power, Ukraine could face disastrous consequences within months.

He has blasted current leader Joe Biden in the past for the amount of cash he has sent to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

And has told both sides to find a way to end the war through a ceasefire - even if it means letting Russia keep the land they've stolen.

Harris, 60, on the other hand says she will continue to give her full support to Ukraine and Nato allies much like Biden has.

This same approach to the war as in the past few years has left some wary that an end may still be far away under Harris' leadership.

'Strong and robust' Donald Trump will end Ukraine war - he WON'T give power back to Russia

The Sun has been out in Ukraine speaking to the brave soldiers fighting up against Vlad's army to get their take on who they want to win on November 5.

A Ukrainian soldier, dubbed "Student", from the 21st Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade is still unsure who he wants to win.

He says actions are more important than words.

"To be honest, as a citizen of Ukraine, I don't care which of them gets elected," he revealed.

"The most important thing for me is that my relatives and my people would not die in this war."

But he does says that Harris has been saying many of the right things about the war in the run up to election day.

I don't care which of them gets elected. The most important thing for me is that my relatives and my people would not die in this war

When asked about how they'd feel about Trump potentially regaining control of The White House many of the troops had mixed thoughts.

A British soldier with the callsign Mak gave a sinister warning to the ex-president saying he cannot allow Putin to win the war under any circumstance or it risks plunging Europe into chaos.

The Brit, who serves in the 21st Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade, said a dictator who successfully steals one nation's land is unlikely to stop at the next border.

He said: "It is dangerous because Russia will cross the borders into Poland, Belarus, or other countries and come into Nato that way, so we have to ensure that our borders are secure.

"Donald Trump should continue to support Ukraine because Ukraine needs assistance.

"Our battalion needs all the support we can get. We need foreign aid, weapons, ammunition, anything we can get.

"That's our fight against Russian oppression."

A Ukrainian soldier with the callsign "Uncle" who fights in the Kharkiv region also believes that Europe is just one step away from Putin invading further.

Uncle says Ukraine must continue to fight as they are the only thing that stands between Europe and Russian savages.

He also called on Trump to focus on defeating the evil across of the world instead of playing "political games".

Uncle added: "If we fall, they will get all our resources and will use them to start wars in the Baltics and Moldova.

"Does Trump care about it? I have no idea, but this is the reality.

"I would like to tell him to stop playing political games and face the truth.

"Russia is not anybody’s friend unless you are not Iran or North Korea, of course, but who wants friends like this?”

Student is fighting for the 21st Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade and he echoed Uncle's view.

He said: "If the people of the United States elect Trump, I hope Ukraine will receive more aid and more weapons. And we will be able to save more lives.

"There will be no victory without help. Russia is dangerous for Europe because Ukraine, in my opinion, is a kind of frontier to Nato.

"And if Russia destroys Ukraine, then there will be a very bloody conflict between Nato and Russia."

Many see Harris as the preferred choice to ensure the longevity of Ukraine's future.

Mak said: "I think she will support Ukraine if she's elected.

"She's given indications that she supports the fact that Ukraine is a barrier in Europe against anybody coming through.

"We feel that would be a good thing."

The soldier has also pleaded with Trump or Harris to help the military advance through specialist US weaponry.

He has called on more support for anti-drone electronic warfare as well as night vision devices and thermal imagers.

Puzzling polls - there's everything to play for

Analysis by Political Commentator Adam Boulten

If you go back to when Trump won in 2016, both the punters and the polls got it wrong.

If you go back to 2020, both for punters and the polls got it right.

This time around there's divergence.

If you look at what the punters are saying, they are clearly favouring Donald Trump.

But the latest from the opinion poll market puts the averages for Kamala Harris on about 49% and Donald Trump on 46%.

And what's interesting about that is Donald Trump seems to be stuck at 46% - he's got about that in every single election.

Whereas we're seeing now Kamala Harris getting more than Hillary Clinton from when she lost, but on the other hand less in the polls than what Joe Biden got what he won.

In those swing states, basically, if one side wins, then they win.

But what we got at the moment is a bit of a split in the polls.

In the last couple of hours, Harris has been ahead in Michigan, she's ahead in Pennsylvania, she's ahead in Wisconsin, she's ahead in Nevada.

But she is behind in Arizona and Georgia, which Biden won.

She's also behind in North Carolina.

So that does suggest there is everything to play for.
