The wider Moscow region was pummelled by a series of drone attacks overnight. Images circulating on the social media platform Telegram show a huge column of thick smoke rising from the Elma technopark in Zelenograd, a city in the Moscow area, some 37 miles from the capital. Some 150 people live in the technopark, according to independent Russian news outlet Astra.
Elma, its website reads, is home to the production "of electronic equipment, production of control and measuring devices, optical equipment, processing of various materials, scientific research, information technology, production of consumer goods." Reports of drone attacks also emerged in the town of Ramenskoye and Moscow city itself. Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, said: "As a result of repelling the attack of enemy drones in Zelenograd, according to preliminary information, there are no serious damages or casualties. Specialists from the relevant services are working at the site of the fall of the debris." Ukraine, which rarely claims responsibility for attacks launched outside of its internationally recognised borders, hasn't yet spoken of the overnight incidents.

Putin 'playing with fire' says Donald Trump over Russia stoking WW3 fears
US president Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to say that Vladimir Putin was "playing with fire", warning that "REALLY BAD" things would have happened already to Russia if it were not for Mr Trump.
"What Vladimir Putin doesn't realise is that if it weren't for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened in Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He's playing with fire," the president said.
In response, top Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev said: "Regarding Trump's words about Putin 'playing with fire' and 'really bad things' happening to Russia. I only know of one REALLY BAD thing – WWIII. I hope Trump understands this!"
US envoy Keith Kellogg quoted Mr Medvedev's post, describing it as "reckless" on X: "Stoking fears of WW III is an unfortunate, reckless comment... and unfitting of a world power.
"President Trump @POTUS is working to stop this war and end the killing. We await receipt of RU Memorandum (Term Sheet) that you promised a week ago. Cease fire now," he added.
