Donald Trump said Michell Obama did a mistake by being 'nasty' to him.
In a tone that was interpreted as threatening, former president Donald Trump said former First Lady Michelle Obama made a big mistake by being nasty to him. Speaking at the Georgia Institute of Technology on Monday night Donald Trump said Michelle opened up a little bit of a box. "I always tried to be so nice and respectful. You know who was nasty to me? Michelle Obama," said Trump, prompting a loud chorus of boos, jeers, and shouts from his audience. "She was really – ooooooh."
"Shouldn't be that way. That was a big mistake she made. With your support on November 5 we will achieve success that no one can imagine."
Trump's playful threat was in reaction to Michell Obama's Saturday speech in Michigan where she accused Trump of gross incompetence, erratic behaviour and "obvious mental decline".
“I hope you’ll forgive me if I’m a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump’s gross incompetence, while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn,” said Michelle.
"I gotta ask myself: 'Why on earth is this race even close?'" Michelle Obama said. "I lay awake at night wondering: 'what in the world is going on?'"
“I hope that you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slum lord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse, all of this while we pick apart Kamala's answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do, y'all,”
As Trump continued his speech, he called Kamala Harris a hater followed by the "Lock her up! Lock her up!" chants from the audience. "Be nice," Trump said as he admonished the chanting crowd.
