The new "master plan" for the future of Gaza has been unveiled. Jared Kushner took centre stage in Davos after his father-in-law Donald Trump officialised the creation of the Board of Peace on Thursday morning. The senior advisor said Gaza's future would be conducted in phases, giving "opportunity for everyone".
Three graphics were then projected on the screen pehind him, showing the "master plan", "new Gaza", and "new Rafah". The Board of Peace's "master plan" involves residential areas, parks, data centres, and tourist attractions along the coast. Gaza's graphic included a seemingly AI-generated image of the city as a "coastal tourism" hub, with futuristic high-rise buildings and trees lining the shore.

He said: "People ask us what our plan B is. We do not have a plan B, we have a plan. We signed an agreement. We are all committed to making that agreement work.
"There's a master plan. We'll be doing it in phasing in the Middle East. They build cities like this in, you know, two, three million people. They build this in three years. And so stuff like this is very doable if we make it happen."
Mr Trump's son-in-law then called for peace, the day after Israel killed at least 11 Palestinians, including two 13-year-old boys and three journalists.

"Everyone wants to live peacefully, everyone wants to live with dignity, let's put our efforts towards promoting those who are doing the work to build this up."
During his unveiling of the Board of Peace, Mr Trump said Gaza will become a "beautiful peace of property" thanks to what Mr Kushner dubbed the "masterplan".

He said: "I'm a real estate person at heart, and it's all about location, and I said, look at this location on the sea, look at this beautiful piece of property, what it could be for so many people.
"It'll be so, so great. People that are living so poorly are going to be living so well. But it all began with the location."
