Washington and Moscow drew up a plan without the help of Kyiv – a document which heavily favours the tyrant’s demands.

European leaders even accused Trump of trying to force Kyiv to “capitulate” to Russia through the latest ceasefire proposal.

Washington is hopeful that Kyiv will put pen to paper on the peace terms and expects Zelensky to sign it by November 27 which coincides with Thanksgiving, the Financial Times is reporting.

The controversial plan includes halving the size of Ukraine’s army and banning the country from storing long-range missiles, reports The Telegraph.

It also involves welcoming the Russian tyrant back into the G7 – making it the G8.

The UK has so far not spoken out about the proposals – something sources in Ukraine have been heavily critical of.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, meanwhile, said in a briefing: “It’s a good plan for both Russia and Ukraine, and we believe that it should be acceptable to both sides.”

It’s a deal which has been shrouded in secrecy, but now full details have been revealed.

Ukraine military neutered

For peace, the plan demands Ukraine cuts the size of its army to just 600,000 and gets rid of any missiles its been using against Russia.

Kyiv will not be allowed to reclaim land annexed by the tyrant nor will it be able to invade Russia.

No foreign troops

Under the plan, Ukraine will also not be allowed to host Nato troops and foreign fighter jets – which it has relied on heavily during the war.

These will be forced to be stationed in Poland.

This would prove a massive blow to Zelensky, who recently signed a deal with France to purchase the impressive Rafale jets.

If Ukraine breaches any of the conditions, it will forfeit certain security guarantees from the US and Europe.

Give up the Donbas

In one of the more controversial proposals, Russia will be handed all of the Donbas region and Crimea, which will become recognised as de facto.

The plan says: “Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk will be recognised as de facto Russian, including by the United States.

“Kherson and Zaporizhzhia will be frozen along the line of contact, which will mean de facto recognition along the line of contact.”

Russia back in international fold

Europe will lift its sanctions on Russia and return all of its frozen assets, except $100 billion (£77 billion) which will be used for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Moscow will be given about two-thirds of the £265 billion seized internationally.

In turn, Russia will suffer military action and new sanctions if it attacks Ukraine again.

The proposal states: “The remainder of the frozen Russian funds will be invested in a separate US-Russian investment vehicle that will implement joint projects in specific areas.

“This fund will be aimed at strengthening relations and increasing common interests to create a strong incentive not to return to conflict,”

What’s next?

Despite the plan drawing fierce ire from European officials, Zelensky agreed to “work on the plan’s provisions in a way that would bring about a just end to the war”.

He is expected to hold direct talks with Trump in the coming days, saying he is willing to work with the President.

Zelensky said on X late on Thursday: “The American side presented points of a plan to end the war—their vision.

“I outlined our key principles. We agreed that our teams will work on the points to ensure it’s all genuine.

“We’re geared up for clear and honest work—Ukraine, the US, our European and global partners.”

He since wrote on Telegram: “Our teams – Ukraine and the USA – will work on the points of the plan to end the war. We are ready for constructive, honest and prompt work.

“From the first days of the war, we have upheld one very simple position: Ukraine needs peace.

“A real peace – one that will not be broken by a third invasion. A dignified peace – with terms that respect our independence, our sovereignty, and the dignity of the Ukrainian people. And it is exactly such terms that we must secure.”
