Donald Trump is not interested in speaking with Elon Musk over the phone today, a White House official said. Earlier today, it was reported that the world's richest man and the US President would hold a call, hours after a bitter feud over Mr Trump's tax-cut bill unravelled under the public eye.

But an official told Reuters this afternoon no phone call would be scheduled today between the two men. This comes after a verbal tit-for-tat erupted on Thursday, when Mr Trump criticised Mr Musk in the Oval Office.
