Donald Trump is to host Karol Nawrocki, Poland's conservative nationalist president, at the White House this afternoon. The high-profile meeting between the US leader and the Polish president, who ran a campaign under the slogan "Poland first, Poles first", comes less than 24 hours after the American president held a press conference in the Oval Office to announce the relocation of the US Space Command from Colorado to Alabama.

During the event, Mr Trump slammed unfounded rumours about his ill health, which have been circulating for days on social media, with some going as far as to claim he had died. The claims about Mr Trump's health have been strongly denied by the White House and Mr Trump himself, with the US President saying he was "very active" over the weekend. However, speculation about his health have continued to swirl online over the past few hours, also due to a discoloration noticed on his right hand.

US fighter jets' tribute

American fighter jets performed the 'missing man' formation as Karol Nawrocki was welcomed to the White House by Donald Trump.

Both F-16 and F-35 aircraft took part in the flight to "pay tribute to fallen Polish fighter pilot", according to Margo Martin, one of Mr Trump's aides, on X.

Donald Trump has now welcomed Karol Nawrocki to the White House.

The US President shook Mr Nawrocki's hand as he greeted him on a red carpet.

American military aircraft also flew over the White House as the new Polish president arrived for the bilateral talks.
