US President Donald Trump opted to spend Sunday on the fairways, accompanied around the course by a mysterious blonde aide, just one day after embarking on a peculiar posting spree across his own social media platform Truth Social.

The 79-year-old world leader made his way to Trump National Golf Club in Washington, DC for the second consecutive day on Sunday. The outing marks the 26th time Trump has hit the links in 2026.

It is also the 112th day he has played golf since returning to the White House in 2025. Having been back in power for 498 days in total, he has spent roughly 23 percent of his time on the golf course during his second stint as US President. The White House declined to respond to requests from the Mirror regarding the identity of his young, blonde playing companion.

During the President's late-night posting frenzy on Saturday, Trump thoroughly enjoyed taking aim at his predecessor, former US President Barack Obama. The current American leader shared numerous memes mocking his Democratic rival, including one that portrayed the Obama Presidential Library as an oversized rubbish bin.

Kicking off at noon on Saturday, the six-hour social media extravaganza was packed with attacks on political opponents, boastful tributes from supporters, and a bewildering collection of AI-generated memes. The extraordinary deluge of social media activity occurred on a day when the president's official schedule listed nothing beyond "executive time", reports the Mirror.

Another meme portrayed the President peering over Greenland's mountainous horizon, resembling some kind of deity or — perhaps more reflective of locals' sentiments — Godzilla. The towering Kaiju-Trump appeared beneath the headline: "Hello, Greenland!" Trump has repeatedly insisted that Greenland ought to become a US territory, arguing the nation is essential for national security, much to the frustration of Greenland, its inhabitants, and the Kingdom of Denmark as a whole.

Yet another of his numerous outlandish social media posts depicted the US President as a heroic military commander, flanked by a squadron of fighter jets roaring overhead, trailing jet streams in their wake. Beneath Trump, alongside a two-vessel fleet comprising a modern naval warship and an old-fashioned sailing ship, appeared the words "you're getting discombobulated" — presumably a nod to Trump's assertion that the US military deployed a secret weapon he dubbed a " discombobulator " during the rendition of then-Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro in January.

Trump also seized the opportunity to reignite one of his longest-standing feuds, this time targeting US comedian Rosie O'Donnell, portraying the chat show host across the five stages of "Trump Derangement Syndrome". Their bitter rivalry has endured for over 20 years, spanning multiple presidential campaigns and two separate stints in the Oval Office.
