Shannon Burns, an American technology executive and former Gitpod vice-president of engineering, is at the centre of a legal battle that could become one of the biggest employment compensation cases in the UK. Recent reports by The Independent, and The Guardian, alongside employment tribunal records, show that Burns is pursuing £76,071,992 from Gitpod after winning a disability discrimination case.
