The Kardashian-Jenner clan, comprising Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Caitlyn Jenner, is collectively worth £2.6 billion, with Kim Kardashian accounting for £1.4 billion of their combined net worth.

Whilst for the royals, it is reported that they have a net worth of around £21 billion. Though both figures are incredibly high, neither of them tops the list. In fact, the net worth of the wealthiest family is around 17 times more than that of the royal and the Kardashians combined.

But who is this family in question? The Waltons, the founders of Walmart, the world's largest retailer. As of 2025, their net worth, according to Bloomberg, is $513.4 billion, equivalent to approximately £386 billion.

The majority of the family's wealth comes from the heritage of brothers Sam Walton and James Walton, also known as Bud, who co-founded the retailer in 1962 in nearby Rogers, Arkansas.

Today, Walmart is not only the largest retailer but one of the world's largest business enterprises regarding annual revenue and with more than 2.1 million employees, the world's largest private employer.

While none of the Waltons — the surviving children and grandchildren of the late Sam Walton — work directly for Walmart, the family still holds a 45% stake in the company, with one member serving on the board.

Walmart is the biggest company in the world by revenue, and has held the title for many years on the Fortune Global 500 list. According to its 2025 annual report and proxy statement, the retailer generated revenue of $681 billion (£512 billion) in fiscal year 2025.

It added: "Walmart employs approximately 2.1 million associates worldwide. Walmart continues to be a leader in sustainability, corporate philanthropy, and employment opportunity".
