One of those countries is Mauritius, which is known for its pristine waters, jungle-like trails, and some of the best snorkelling in the world.

Thanks to a healthy tourism industry, Mauritius is one of Africa’s wealthiest countries, with some reports suggesting it might even be the wealthiest.

It, therefore, comes as no surprise that the village of Grand Baie in Mauritius has become the richest on the continent.

The area also attracts wealthy people from around the world.

Situated in the Rivière du Rempart District, Grand Baie offers a mix of natural beauty, vibrant local life, and high-end living.

The village is also located close to Port Louis, the Mauritian capital, and has attracted many business people who choose to commute.
