 Biden on Trump supporters

President Joe Biden returned to his birthplace Pennsylvania on Saturday, to promote VP Kamala Harris. During his speech in Scranton, Biden seemed to be veering off the script as he offered his unfiltered political statements.
He criticised former President Donald Trump and his supporters on policy issues and suggested he would hit back at faux "macho guys.”

"There's one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do. They want to have a giant tax cut for the wealthy," Biden told the local chapter of the carpenters union. Referring to

, he added, "Now, I know some of you guys are tempted to think it's macho guys."
But his one unhinged statement was something that took the internet by storm. While addressing the crowd Biden said, “I tell you what, man, when I was in Scranton, we used to have a little trouble going down the plot once in a while. These are the kind of guys you'd like to smack in the ass.”

Biden’s comment stirred reactions on the internet, one user on X wrote, “This would just be an "OK Grandpa, let's get you back in bed." moment if he was in any house other than the White House.”

Another wrote, “Joe’s been hanging out with Tim too much.”

Later that night, during a rally in North Carolina, Trump poked fun at Biden, asking the crowd, "I don't even know, is he still around?"
Biden's comment in Scranton drew laughs from the crowd. Earlier this week, Biden sparked an uproar by responding to racist comments at a recent Trump rally made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who referred to Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage."
Biden said, "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters."
Additionally, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz last week criticized Tesla CEO Elon Musk at a Wisconsin campaign rally, describing the billionaire Trump surrogate as "jumping around, skipping like a dipsh*t" and later calling him "that gay guy."
