A bus has crashed into pedestrians in Stockholm, Sweden, with local media reporting that multiple people have been killed.
The force have not specified the number of people dead or their identities. The bus driver has been arrested, according to Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet.
In a statement, police said the incident had been classified as aggravated manslaughter.
A witness who owns a shop on the street told SVT that the bus slammed into a pole in front of the bus shelter. They said several people ran into the shop crying.
Stockholm's public transport agency, SL, have told local media is unclear at this moment in time what caused the incident.
"We can confirm that an accident has occurred. It is a serious incident and unfortunately we cannot enter into a claim for damages", says Sophie Gunnarsson, press spokesperson for SL.
