Simon Batchelor and Lisa Fryett, from Canvey Island, were staying near Bédar and Los Gallardos in Spain when the blaze broke out last month, devouring thousands of acres of terrain.The couple, who were staying near the villages when the wildfire started to spread, were rescued the day after the blaze erupted and were hospitalised in a critical condition. Since then, Ms Fryett has sadly died, according to an update on a GoFundMe page set up to support the family.
