Russia urges Trump to 'fight on Putin's side and destroy Ukraine'

Donald Trump has been urged to switch allegiances from Ukraine to Russia in order to "destroy universal evil" across Europe. Television presenter and propagandist Vladimir Solovyov went on a bizarre rant during his Full Contact radio show, where he claimed Ukraine was a "global evil" and called on the US to "come over to the side of good".

He said: "America has to come over to the side of good, and together with us, like in World War II and the Great Patriotic War, destroy universal evil that has taken root within America itself, which is freely blooming in Europe. And one of these scary hards of Medusa is in Ukraine. That's why we fight against gloval evil in Ukraine. That's why we're addressing all healthy, traditional, conservative forces in the world. If you want to defeat global evil, you have to stand shoulder to shoulder with us."

Solovyov also addressed the recent killing of American political activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead at an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

The radio host made claims about Mr Kirk's position on the war with Ukraine, saying the conservative influencer "despised" Volodymyr Zelensky.

He added: "His position was very anti-Ukrainian. He simply despised Zelensky and said so many times.

"He demanded the US government to stop supporting Kyiv and not send American troops to Ukraine. He was a proponent of resuming relations with Moscow."

"Of course everything that happened is a very worrisome sign. In reality, after this I won't be surprised if Trump resorts to very hars measures."

Other Russian officials and allies of Vladimir Putin used Mr Kirk's death to blame the left and supporters of Ukraine for political violence in the US.

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev compared the murder to supporters of Kiv, while Kremlin negotiator Kirill Dmitriev shared a video claiming to show leftists "in full celebration mode over Kirk getting shot".

Medvedev wrote on X: "Political crimes and assasinations have been carried out lately by a variety of left-wing liberal scum who support Banderite Kiev.

"Fico, Kirk. Who's next? Maybe it's time for the MAGA team to realize that by supporting Ukraine, they're supporting murderers."
