According to Dr. Brom, as Israelis and Jewish people around the world continue to mourn the largest loss of Jewish life on a single day since the Holocaust, their fundamental sense of collective security has also been shattered. What strikes him, however, is the resilience that exists alongside the grieving. How can individuals, communities and society rebuild a sense of safety without allowing fear to dictate the future?
