Kai Sato, 39, was found drifting about 900 miles from Hawaii by the crew of a passing container ship, ending a desperate solo voyage that had nearly turned fatal.Sato had left Catalina Island on June 7 hoping to complete his first solo crossing of the Pacific, according to reports from Hawaii News Now and the Seafarers International Union.
