An Indian national from Punjab has been added to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Most Wanted list over his alleged involvement in an international organised crime network accused of drug trafficking, firearms offences and racketeering.According to the FBI, Gurpreet Singh is wanted for his alleged role in the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Organised Crime Group, which originated in Punjab and is alleged to have operated in California and other parts of the United States.The agency alleged that the group was involved in racketeering, trafficking controlled substances and operating an unlicensed firearms business. Singh is wanted on allegations including racketeer-influenced and corrupt organisations (RICO) conspiracy, as well as offences related to dealing in firearms without a licence, and the distribution and possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, along with distribution of controlled substances. The FBI said a federal arrest warrant for Singh was issued on June 25, 2026, by the US District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles.
