The 20 Premier League sides spent more than €4 billion this summer in the transfer market, setting a new record. Manchester City broke the record for the most spent by a single club in one summer, with more than €500 million spent on new signings. That's almost as much as the 18 French Ligue 1 clubs combined (€605 million). Also in this edition: Lionel Messi will get his tribute after announcing his retirement from the Argentina national team.
