Pope Francis made a brief appearance at St Peter's Square in the Vatican on Sunday to bless the thousands of faithful Catholics who had assembled to celebrate Easter. The 88-year-old’s frail health has largely kept him from Holy Week events. Earlier in the day, he met briefly with US Vice President JD Vance who was visiting Italy for the weekend.
