Police are searching for a British woman who was last seen more than a week ago at an airport in southern Poland.

Ania Czopinski, 18, was spotted on CCTV around 11pm on 11 November at Krakow-Balice Airport.

Officers say she did not have a passport with her.

An image from video footage has been released showing her walking through the airport halls with a wheeled suitcase and a handbag.

In a statement posted on Facebook, police added that Ms Czopinski does not speak Polish and her family have had no contact with her by phone.

When she disappeared she was wearing grey jeans with holes at the knees, a black jacket, and black trainers.

A description issued by police said Ms Czopinski was approximately 160-170cm (around 5ft 3in to 5ft 6in) tall, with a slim build, and long, dark blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Zabierzow, a suburb of Krakow.

The Sun reports that Ms Czopinski, a former contender for Miss Teen Great Britain, went missing in August after attending the Leeds Festival.

She was later found safe and well.
