Poland issues major update over 'Russian missile entering NATO airspace' as tensions soar

Last night NATO jets were scambled after a cruise missile flew into Polish airspace and fell amid a large-scale Russian strike on Ukraine.Air raid systems sounded in the eastern Polish city of Lublin, where a crater was reported, and air defense systems were put on alert. Confirming the incident Mr Tusk said Poland "were ready to shoot down the missile if it continued its flight". He said that "everything indicates that it was a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile".
