According to the US Geological Survey, the quake began just under 50 miles North-east of Casiguran - a municipality in the province of Aurora - at a depth of six miles.Tremors were also felt in parts of Luzon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), when it struck at 10.11pm local time. Phivolcs added that it was a low-intensity quake in Quezon City, Metro Manila, but warned of possible aftershocks.
