A residential area has been put on lockdown following reports of a "suspected dangerous object". Swedish police said on Thursday morning that a suspected dangerous object was found outside a property in the town of Skillingsgatan. The message, addressing people living within a 500-metre radius of the concerning object, read: "Suspected dangerous object found outside a residence on Skillingsgatan.
"People in the vicinity are asked to stay indoors and away from doors and windows." Police noted a school is also in the proximity of the suspected dangerous object, adding officers had contacted school's officials to "keep all students indoors until further notice".

Police confirmed that a bomb disposal team located two potentially dangerous objects and secured them, taking them to a safe location.
Cordons are due to remain in place while their work continues as they work to gather evidence from the scene.
Residents have also been asked to provide officers, who are going door-to-door, with any information they might have regarding the objects.
Police said in an update this morning: "Police bomb disposal experts have handled and secured two suspected dangerous objects. The location is now considered safe and the important message to the public is being withdrawn.
"However, some cordons will remain in place while the police work to secure traces and evidence at the crime scene. The police have also begun door-to-door canvassing in the surrounding area to capture any witness information.
"Anyone who has made observations, or has other information to provide in the case, is asked to contact the police.
"A preliminary investigation into attempted serious public destruction and a serious violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods has been initiated. Intensive work to identify the perpetrator(s) is underway."
