Sean Combs has been in jail since last month after his arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for engagement in prostitution but the silence in the industry about complaints against him reveals the power he wields even from the jail. A source told PEOPLE that P
Diddy
is capable of doing a lot. "He's so powerful. Everyone was afraid to cross him.
Even though he's behind bars now, he's still so powerful. We all knew it even back then," the source said.
"Everyone always chalked it up to being a creative genius when it came to his obsession with controlling things."
So influential but still in jail
P Diddy has not pleaded guilty and is still in jail as he was not granted bail. More and more complaints are coming out in the open every day of how he exploited minors, how he promised to make careers and then exploited the industry people. An expert said the scandal is now so big that there can be no PR damage control. “In all honesty, I’ve seen no crisis PR management from Diddy or his team and due to this particular case, it is not surprising. The magnitude of the scandal means it is not business as usual for Team Diddy, especially as he has been refused bail," an expert said as quoted by Irish Star.
The 54-year-old rapper is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He has been granted no special privileges in jail.
Hailey Bieber's cryptic post
Amid speculations over Justin Bieber's past closeness with Diddy, Justin's wife Haley Bieber posted a photo of Justin showing middle fingers in the air. Captioned 'mood', the photo was probably a rebuff to the rumors swirling around that Justin Bieber is one of the A-lister linked to Diddy's crime. In an old video that has surfaced now, Diddy was heard explaining that he would be taking over unofficial custody of Justin who was then 15 years old.
