Caretaker French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated that the likelihood of dissolving parliament now appears remote, following a series of discussions with various political parties. He noted that these talks revealed a general willingness among parties to pass a budget by the end of the year, which, according to him, has created a sense of momentum and political convergence, reducing the chances of dissolution. Lecornu also mentioned that he would meet with President Emmanuel Macron later Wednesday evening to discuss the outcomes of these consultations. France24's Clovis Casali tells us the latest from the Hotel Matignon, in Paris.
