Ottawa in Canada has been rocked by an earthquake as locals say houses were shaking and people were "freaking out."

Earthquakes Canada reported a magnitude 3.9 earthquake, northeast of Shawville, Que.
CTV News Ottawa received reports from people in Ottawa, Fitzroy Harbour, Richmond, and Pembroke feeling the earthquake.
Tremors lasted 10-12 seconds
Initial reports also said the earthquake lasted 10-12 seconds.
