Ohio flash-flood threat persists as tornado warning ends

Radar indicated wind gusts of about 97kmph, while forecasters said a tornado remained possible.One minute later, the NWS cancelled the tornado warning for east-central Vinton and west-central Athens counties after the storm weakened below severe limits and no longer appeared likely to generate a tornado.The earlier tornado alert followed the detection of a severe storm near McArthur in Vinton County.
