Muhammad Yunus promises polls after reforms

chief adviser Muhammad Yunus vowed Sunday to hold the "desired"

national elections

after implementing some essential reforms and forming the election commission (EC). While he refrained from specifying a date for the polls, Yunus hinted that the country's "election train" has already started its journey. "Some reforms can be made during the preparations for the elections, and for this reason, the pollssss may be delayed by a few months," he added.
