A British tourist who disappeared during a stag do in Portugal has tragically been found dead, according to reports.
Portugal's Policia Judiciaria force is currently on site, as reported by Portuguese daily newspaper Correio da Manha. It is believed that firefighters have since removed the body from the scene. Neither his family nor the police have issued a comment.
The 38-year-old Glaswegian went missing in the early hours of last Wednesday morning while celebrating a stag do with friends.
He had just arrived for the five-day holiday when he became separated from his group.
CCTV last captured him in the residential area of Cerro de Aguia on Tuesday, May 27, approximately four miles away from the main club and bar strip of Albufeira.
Last night, Greg's sister Jillian expressed her "unimaginable" fear that Greg might be "lying somewhere and we can't find him".
The family had previously shared a photograph of him taken last, showing him wearing navy Nike shorts and a T-shirt of the same brand. Jillian revealed that Greg's friends raised the alarm on Wednesday, May 28 after he failed to return following their first night out.
His friends asked if they could track his phone to determine his whereabouts.
Jillian claimed that when she initially tried to report Greg as missing, the authorities did not seem to take the case "seriously" because "it hadn't been that long".
Upon the family's arrival in Albufeira to assist with search efforts, they were informed by police of two confirmed CCTV sightings of him in Cerro de Aguia.

Described as "rough terrain" by his family, the area consists of rugged rocky hills and steep cliffs, and is more than an hour's walk from the Albufeira Strip where he was last seen by his mates. The family has also established a Facebook group to disseminate information, which has quickly amassed over 10,000 members.
Bilingual posters in English and Portuguese have been distributed, detailing his last known location and contact information.
Volunteers are conducting extensive private searches, including drone operations. A spokesperson for the Foreign Office stated: "We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Portugal and are in contact with the local authorities".
