The reigning Miss Austria Lucia Sisic has died at the age of 22. Mission Austria announced the news on its official Facebook page, writing, “It is with great shock and deep sadness that we have learned of the passing of our Miss Austria 2024, Lucia Sisic.”“Lucia will be remembered as a wonderful young woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to her family, friends, and all those close to her during this difficult time. Dear Lucia, you will always remain a part of our Miss Austria family,” the post added.The Mission Austria post, which is the organization responsible for selecting the winner of the pageant, was signed by CEO Kerstin Rigger and her husband, Jörg.An official cause of death has not been released.
