A man has been shot in the chest by ICE agents in Minneapolis as tension between protesters and immigration agents boils over after weeks of protests.
In a video circulating online, several agents can be seen scrapping and fighting the man to the ground before several gunshots can be heard, causing the ICE team to quickly run away.
The incident has poured fuel on the fire of the clash in the state, with Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz hitting out at the ICE agents, calling the officers "violent" and "untrained" and demanding they leave the state.

A 51-year-old man who was shot in Minneapolis has died.
The man who is though to have been shot several times in the chest has reportedly died, according to a hospital record obtained by the Associated Press news agency.
Following the incident, Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz hit out at the ICE agents, calling the officers "violent" and "untrained" - demanding they leave the state.
Posting to X he said he had spoken to the President's office: "I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.
"The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now."

In a post on X, the city of Minneapolis has urged the public to stay away from the area of the shooting.
Confirming the news the city added: "We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave.
"We are working to confirm additional details. We ask the public to remain calm and avoid the immediate area."

Eyewitness footage from the scene of the shooting shows the moments several ICE agents begin trying to apprehend the man.
The footage shows several of the federal agents using force to bring him to the ground before shots ring out.
All the agents then quickly turn away from the man and begin moving away from the scene.

ICE agents shoot a man in the chest just weeks after Renee Good's death
A man has been shot by a US federal agent in Minneapolis as federal immigration agents gathered on 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue.
Eyewitnesses say the man was wrestled to the ground by agents before being kicked and punched, soon after gunshots can be heard as the man hits the ground.
The condition of the man is not yet known, but reports suggest paramedics performed CPR on the man before he was put in an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
