Melania Trump looked flustered after she was asked about Jeffrey Epstein's former associate Ghislaine Maxwell during a press conference on Wednesday. The First Lady attended a press conference to meet with former Hamas hostages Aviva and Keith Siegel at the White House today, as the couple thanked the Trump administration for its efforts to get hostages freed. When it came to questions from the press, one interaction left Mrs Trump flustered as she quickly dodged the topic.
Mrs Trump was asked what she wants to have happen, as they have heard calls for Maxwell to be moved to a high-security prison. Melania seemed instantly flustered by the question as one person could be heard trying to cut off the reporter by repeating "Thank you, press".
Melania answered: "We are here to celebrate the release and the life of those two incredible people. Let’s honour that."
During the press conference, a reporter also asked Melania if she felt it was appropriate to "use an official White House event to promote your movie", to which she responded: "This is not a promotion." However, she did mention her recently released documentary a number of times throughout the press conference.
Melania's connection to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell has been in the spotlight over the last few days. As the eotein files make headlines once again, old photos of the Trumps with Epstein and Maxwell have resurfaced.

One of the most recently uncovered alleged emails is signed by Melania and is dated in 2002. It is seemingly addressed to Maxwell, and it reads: "Dear G! How are you? Nice story about JE in NY mag. You look great on the picture."
It continues: "I know you are very busy flying all over the world. How was Palm Beach? I cannot wait to go down. Give me a call when you are back in NY. Have a great time!"

An alleged response email reads: "Sweet pea, Thanks for your message. Actually plans changed again and I am now on my way back to NY. I leave again on Fri so I still do not think I have time to see you sadly. I will try and call though."
President Donald Trump maintains that he broke off contact with Epstein in 2007.
